What Families Should Know Before Booking
Travelling to or from the airport with children requires a little extra planning, and we have made it straightforward. All of our child seat options — infant capsules, forward-facing child seats, and booster seats — are fitted in the vehicle before pickup, with fitting included in the A$25 charge per seat, per trip. Simply request the right seat type when you book and note your child’s age and approximate weight.
For airport arrivals with young children, your driver will allow extra time in the pickup area. There is no rush and no pressure — we understand that getting a family with luggage, prams, and children sorted takes a few extra minutes. Our drivers are experienced with family transfers and will help load your gear before departure.
For departures, we recommend adding an extra 15 minutes to your standard airport buffer when travelling with young children. Unexpected moments — nappy changes, feeding stops, or restless little ones — can add time. A good rule: if you would normally aim to arrive 90 minutes before your flight, aim for 105 minutes when travelling with kids under five.
If your family is large — multiple children plus grandparents or extra adults — a Kia Carnival (7 seats) or Maxi Taxi (up to 11 seats) may suit your group better than a standard sedan. Contact us to confirm the right vehicle for your family.
