About Brisbane International Cruise Terminal (BICT)

Cruise Return Timing and Pickup Notes

After a cruise, the last thing you want is to wait around for transport. Our Gold Coast transfers from Brisbane Cruise Terminal are timed to your ship’s docking schedule. We monitor vessel arrival times and factor in the typical disembarkation process, so your driver is ready when you clear the terminal — not a minute too early or too late.

Disembarkation at Portside Wharf can vary significantly depending on your self-carry luggage status, customs processing, and how early your cabin level is called. We recommend planning for a 60 to 90 minute window after the ship’s scheduled arrival before expecting to be fully clear of the terminal.

Your driver will meet you in the arrivals area at Portside Wharf and assist with luggage to the vehicle. The drive back to the Gold Coast takes 60 to 90 minutes depending on your destination suburb — Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, or further south to Coolangatta and Tweed Heads.

For families returning from a cruise with prams, port shopping bags, or extra luggage purchased on board, a Kia Carnival or Maxi Taxi provides generous space. Please mention this when you book so we can prepare accordingly.

  • Portside Wharf pickup direct to your Gold Coast address
  • Fixed price regardless of traffic or delays
