What time should we leave Kingscliff & Northern NSW?
The drive is roughly 2 hours in clear traffic, but embarkation day is not a clear-traffic day. Most cruise lines ask you to be at the terminal between 11:00am and 2:00pm, with boarding closing around 90 minutes before departure.
Our rule of thumb: leave Kingscliff & Northern NSW three hours before your boarding window closes. From Northern NSW the drive crosses the border and the full length of the M1, so we start earlier than for any Gold Coast pick-up. Per vehicle. Three passengers from Kingscliff & Northern NSW pay the same $280 sedan rate as one. A family of four needs the Kia Carnival at $400, since the sedan seats three.
Where exactly do you drop us?
At the passenger drop-off zone at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, Pinkenba — the same door the porters work from, so your bags go straight to the ship.
Can you fit our cruise luggage?
